Welcome to the Woodbridge Public Library's virtual exhibit, Woodbridge Treasures: Victorian Life in the Township. Several items from this exhibit will be temporarily on display in person at the Barron Arts Center during the month of March 2025. Check out some of these treasures, along with a few selected items on loan from the Woodbridge History Museum.
The items featured here document life in Woodbridge Township during the Victorian and Edwardian eras (1830s - 1910s). During this time, Woodbridge residents benefitted from new technology such as gas lighting and a trolley, entertained and spent time together with their families and friends, and got their first library!
